In the morning, we visited Stellenbosch again and paid another visit to Hilda and her son at the 'Perles par Rousseau' store. Afterwards, we strolled around Stellenbosch for a bit.
Around noon, we had an Uber pick us up from Twice Central and drive us to Kleine Zalze vineyard, where we had another extensive wine tasting with a cheese platter. We returned from the vineyard around 3:00 pm.
We had a pre-dinner drink in the center and then got ready for the evening at our accommodation. Helena started organizing some things so that we can pack most of it tonight. Unfortunately, the almost four weeks are already over and on Friday evening (7:45 pm), the Edelweiss plane will take off towards Zurich. Beautiful, exciting, and eventful days have come to an end and on Monday, everyday life will catch up with us.
Tonight, Helena and I enjoyed another delicious dinner, we chose Eike in Stellenbosch, another restaurant run by Bertus Basson. Eike offers classic South African cuisine, which Bertus Basson reinterprets. Despite the small portions, we had to surrender after 13 courses. It was simply wonderful and delicious.
