New business model for bankers ;-)

Yesterday (still a public holiday) we went to the ATM to withdraw money. The machine did not dispense cash nor return our card!!! Big commotion... The bank was closed, so should we block the card or not? ....

When we asked at the hotel, we were told that this happens often and we shouldn't worry. So we didn't block the card. This morning before our departure to Placencia, we retrieved our card. In total, the machine had collected 3 cards. Now, of course, feeling uncertain, we went to the bank counter to withdraw money and had to pay a 10% fee. That's how you make money.

The way to Placencia is beautiful. Placencia itself is a coastal area and today we swam in the Caribbean for the first time. Our room is right by the sea, we can hear the waves right now.
