Today we treated ourselves to a late breakfast at 7:30. Then we packed the remaining things. Then we continued to the Alice Springs Telegraph Station, where in 1872 one of the 12 telegraph stations of the Australian Overland Telegraph Line was built and the first European settlers settled.

After picking up our rental car, we unfortunately had to realize that this time it was a bit smaller. The luggage fit in, but it was too tight on the back seat for the three children. Fortunately, we were able to get a free upgrade, so we are now driving a Mitsubishi Outlander again.
