Troyes - Rhodt unter Rietburg

Today we're heading back from France to Germany. Our destination is Saarlouis, the Doctor Ernst Dadder campsite. It looks very nice and has a dance cafe attached. The very nice owner advises us against visiting. Due to the heavy rain of the last few days, everything is so wet that you can't get your motorhome out of the meadow. The district heating for hot water has failed and roads are closed everywhere due to flooding and landslides.

So we decide to leave Saarland again and drive to Rhodt unter Rietburg in the Palatinate. On the way we see the masses of water and many emergency vehicles. Let's hope that everything turns out well for the local residents!

In Rhodt the dancing bear awaits us: a wine festival with a children's carousel, fairground organ, local hiking, music and other clubs, and lots of food and wine stands. Oh dear!

We enjoy the sun and decide to go home tomorrow.
