A very hot day 🌞

Today Daniela was picked up for diving at 7:20 AM 🙉! Since I was already awake, we had breakfast together 😁. Her taxi arrived on time 👍! I then went to the pool and laid on a lounge chair for 2.5 hours 😁! Around 11:30 AM, I was picked up by a staff member of the new hotel 😬. A scooter with a sidecar was waiting for me 😂. Two suitcases, two backpacks, and me + the driver 🙉🙈. During the ride, I thought the sidecar was going to hit the ground and the guy would keep driving 🙉😂. Luckily, it was only a short distance 😜! We couldn't extend our stay at the Ramada because they were fully booked. Actually, it was lucky for us because we got a great hotel recommendation from a German. We immediately checked out this hotel. They offered us a beachfront villa with a sea view 😊! And at an amazing price👍!

I wanted to buy something in town and it somehow looked like it was going to rain. So I went out without a cap 😬. I regretted it so much about 10 minutes later 😖. The sky was completely clear 🙉, insanely hot 😖! Where did my clouds go 😬? So I went into a store to buy myself a head covering 😁! Then the saleswoman comes with this tiny hat 🙈, oh no, I looked like the neighbor's grandma 😂👒! So I continued without a hat 😬. It was a nightmare, it was so hot. To keep a cool head, I went into every small supermarket and stayed in the refrigerated section for a looooong time 😜😬! I would have loved to sit in one of those freezers 🙉! It was definitely too hot for shopping, so I packed my beach clothes and went to the beach🌴😁. Phew, it was bearable in the water 😜.

It's 6:30 PM now, Daniela is back from diving 😬👍. She will report on it herself tomorrow👍!

Now we arm ourselves with eggs and show the Thais what "trick or treat" means 👻😬! Just kidding, I imagine that as soon as you throw the first egg at their house wall, you have a dog hanging on your backside 🙃🙂! They watch out 🐕 pretty well here 😬.
