Day 26: Györ/Hungary

Actually, we wanted to have a long day of driving towards home today, but the weather was simply too beautiful. Radiant sunshine prompted us to take an extra day of vacation. So now we are just before the Austrian border in Györ on a nice campsite, surrounded by fish ponds (mosquitoes?) and enjoying the last sun.

After following the recommendation of the host and enjoying tripe goulash instead of normal goulash last night, which was somewhat exotic for us, we are staying at the campsite today. The operator offered to cook for us and we accepted. If necessary, there is always a Palinka afterwards (=fruit brandy).

Tomorrow we will drive through Austria completely and see how far we get.
