Day 6: Summer at the Arctic Circle

We were woken up through the loudspeakers at 6:56 am, saying that we will reach the Arctic Circle about 5 minutes later. Sabrina and I didn't miss the opportunity to put on military clothing for 3 minutes, run a short distance on Deck 5, wait for 1 minute, take photos, and by 7:15 am we were under the blankets again😴😴

We spent today doing nothing and only enjoyed the impressive scenery on the sun deck. Meanwhile, we reached the Lofoten Islands under a steel blue sky. The highlight of today will be the Trollfjord. It is only 100m wide and 3km long. The rocks rise up to 1000m from the water. It is now 12:15 am, the sense of time is completely lost. There is still activity on the ship as if it were midday.
