Comer See nach Lago Maggiore

The day is quickly told: we drove along the eastern shore of Lake Como until we reached Lecco. The road feels like it goes through tunnels 80% of the time, but they are well-lit and well-maintained.

Then begins a quite tiring and annoying tour to Como, where we visit the local Harley dealer. Very nice store and the two girls make every effort to choose two suitable T-shirts with us.

Then we continue to Lake Maggiore, which unfortunately does not bring any driving pleasure, as the villages practically merge into each other and you basically just drive from roundabout to roundabout. And the wider access roads have an American feel, always the same fast food chains and other 0815 stores...

Since a storm is brewing, we take a shortcut and drive a section of the highway. We manage to reach the hotel "Moderno" with dry tires, which is located a good distance above the lake.

Unfortunately, the name is not program, the old villa is partially renovated and in some parts (dining room) stuck somewhere in the 50s. The room is ok, the terrace very nice. We meet a group of bikers from Cologne, with whom we spend the evening.
