Day 1 - LA

Hello everyone 😃,

The first day is coming to an end.

Today has been an exciting day 😁 First of all, our night ended at 5 am 🤔 even though we tried to stay up late last night...mhhhh. Well, at least we had enough time to repack our suitcases. At 10 am, we checked out of the hotel and took a taxi to the van rental.

Then we picked up our home on wheels (for 22 days)🙂🚐.

😍😍😍 we were able to choose it ourselves.

After a briefing, some discussion, and paperwork, we started our journey towards the supermarket 😂. First stop Aldi, second stop Walmart. At both places, we stocked up for the next few days and got any missing items.

With the car full, we drove to the first campsite.

This place is great. The people are very nice and really helpful 👍. After we were assigned our spot, we started to set up the camper...phew 😅 there are many things to consider 👆

Then we did the dishes (before we could use it for the first time) and prepared dinner. Tonight we had wraps 🌯. It was a healthier alternative to pizza, pasta, or burgers. 😇

After a shower, we're going to sleep in the camper. I'm curious about the first night... 😴 or 🙄.

Tomorrow we're going to Universal Studios 🎥 *excited* and then we'll continue to San Diego. LA sightseeing will be at the end of the trip.
