Sunny days - Banks of the Peninsula - Okains Bay

So we went back to the deepest Pampa after Kaikoura. I never thought I would love not having cell phone reception sooooooooo much. Actually, we cracked the 20° mark and made it to a whopping 22 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) °C. Unfortunately, we couldn't hike the planned track on the Peninsula Peninsula, as the land is privately managed here and only 14 people per day are allowed to do the multi-day walk (well, who plans.........). Instead, the (of course very nice) campground manager recommended various other tracks for us.

The probably only slightly larger town......uhhhhmm village......Akaroa enchanted us with its special charm.
