Day 12 - Snorkeling (Attempt 1)

Today the plan was to explore the underwater world of Surin Beach . The equipment would have been right. After some teething problems, snorkeling also worked. Unfortunately the sea didn't cooperate (or did I anger Poseidon?). In any case, the waves were so strong that, firstly, there was a risk of crashing on the rocks and secondly, the fish had also gotten to safety, so I was only able to film 3 specimens with the GoPro. Well, we'll be here for a while longer.

Well, snorkeling definitely makes you hungry and so we drove to nearby Kamala , where we knew a good Thai restaurant where we wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately, this restaurant no longer existed, so we went to the next best thing that appealed to us visually and promised good Thai cuisine.

We didn't regret it (as you can see in the photo). The Sunshine Restaurant in Kamala is definitely recommended!

On the way home we stopped at the viewing area between Kamala and Surin to take photos of the beautiful sunset from Kamala Beach .
