Burg Stargard - Old Castle

The breakfast at Burg Stargard is by far the best on my cycling tour.

Even though I'm advised against having breakfast outside due to wasps, I simply don't want to be lectured.

I'm sitting in the middle of the castle, it's wonderfully quiet as there aren't many guests here, and I've gotten up early by my standards.

But before I sit outside, I explore the castle in all its beauty.

There is a large and truly diverse herb garden.

And until the end of the 18th century, wine cultivation is said to have taken place here. For this reason, some wine enthusiasts founded the association
