Antofagasta

Somehow I had La Serena over. No park was open, the city was particularly loud and hectic on Thursday. So I was glad to finally get on my bus and get comfortable for the night trip. It was funny that the bus driver took 50 minutes to get out of La Serena. Fortunately, there were still some stops along the way, quickly get out and have a smoke. By 2 o'clock, there was peace on the bus.

In Antofagasta we surprisingly arrived ahead of schedule! First coffee & cigarette ;-) And what I always manage to do is take the right bus to my destination.

Until check-in at the hotel there was plenty of time, so drop off my backpack and - as it should be - explore the nearby area. After I checked into my room - with kettle, stove, etc. - I went shopping right next door: coffee, eggs, rolls, and butter. Perfect! Made scrambled eggs.

Now it's time for a real bed!
