How and where to start and stop??? Florence is so incredible, museums, palaces, art and gelato on every corner, where to look first to not miss anything? There's only one thing that helps - walk through all the streets several times and keep your eyes open for all the beauty around. Enter the small shops and marvel.
Lucky for me - today on International Women's Day, the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace, the Boboli Gardens, etc. are free for women, so there was a marathon tour through the museums of Florence - saw everything but my feet are tired 😩 I didn't realize Florence has so many stairs to climb...
Now in March, the city is still relatively tourist-free, so it's perfect to visit everything peacefully without queues. I didn't have to stand in line anywhere. And the sun is shining from the bright blue sky, so even with a jacket and scarf, the ice cream tastes great. Tip: the smaller gelato shops are cheaper and the ice cream is often better than in the tourist traps.
Insight of the day: have ice cream in the morning tomorrow too, then you can have multiple ones a day🙈😉😊
