Day 7: Barnstaple

What did we do? Slept in, lazed around, sat in cafés, went shopping, did laundry, explored the city, went surfing, did some math, made plans... it's amazing what you can do when you're not hiking... ;-)

So far, I've hiked almost 100km and climbed over 3,100 meters in altitude.

In the evening, the rain became unpleasant and the wind became stronger. Let's hope that the storm (with gusts of up to 100km/h) calms down overnight and that tomorrow will be somewhat suitable for hiking again.

Tomorrow, we'll be heading to Westward Ho! for the final stage, great name for a place, right?!? ;-) We originally planned to take a ferry to shorten the route, but it was canceled today due to bad weather. So, the excitement continues.
