Northwijk

Noordwijk is our destination today and stop for 2 days. Here one mini campsite is lined up after the other. We actually got a place even though everything was fully booked. Well, that could be interesting in the coming days when we have to find parking spaces.

But now we are standing in a very nice place and, as it turns out, with relaxed campers.

We decided to bake our first cake at Omnia in the afternoon and that attracted pretty much everyone to come. Some people came and spoke to us directly and some people sneaked around us at first. Finally, we distributed a good half of the cake to the people sitting next to us. It can only be good for the figure. So in that case, good ours.

After dinner we walked to the beach. Heiko from Heidelberg joined us straight away and so the three of us went to the sea. Always straight ahead, through the forest, past the golf course, are the directions. However, this took a few kilometers and the dunes on the North Sea are quite high, as we discovered. But it was worth it and we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset.

After an evening beer, we decided to take the bike path back. That was the longer route but it went better. Especially since it had now become dark.

When we arrived at the motorhome, there was something sweet on the table as a small thank you for the cake. Beate and Guido are the grateful sweet tooths. Tired and satisfied, we now go to bed. Good night!
