17.03 - 18.03 Vejle + Sunday

Ipapashiwe: 20.03.2018

Belatedly, I'm quickly telling you about my weekend. It wasn't very exciting, but still pretty cool.

On Saturday, Fabienne, Wiebke, Julia, and I took the bus to Vejle. IT WAS SO UNBELIEVABLY COLD - I even had to buy gloves there because I couldn't bear it without them.
Because it was so cold, we didn't really enjoy sightseeing in the city, so we only walked through the city briefly and then went straight to lunch.

These houses 'the wave' are probably the most famous in Vejle. They are right next to the beach and look like waves :-)

This church is actually very hidden in the city and we only accidentally discovered it when we were already on our way back. Unfortunately, we couldn't go inside, but it looks nice from the outside too :-)
In general, all the churches here seem to be closed, which I don't quite understand. But as they say - different country, different customs.

After our little sightseeing tour through the city, we had to go somewhere to warm up. Because the food in the restaurant smelled so good, we couldn't resist having a burger. The cool thing was that we were there at the right time and could take advantage of the lunch offer. So I paid about 9€ for a burger, fries, and a disgustingly spicy dip - a bargain for Denmark and the burger was really big and good :-)

After our lunch break, we went to an interactive museum for children and it was SO COOL!

In the museum, you can try out everything (thermal camera, virtual glasses, eating insects, and more). If I have time, I definitely want to go back there.

Finally, on the way back to the bus, we passed by this gigantic red chair and of course had to take a photo.
Then we boarded the bus and went home :-)

Sunday was actually quite uneventful. I slept in, did my laundry, had a visit from Teresa, and then went up to the eighth WG to make a 'friendship bracelet' with the girls. In the evening, I went home and that was it :-)
