Ipapashiwe: 20.11.2022

The November exams are finally over. Sara stayed over at our place over the weekend, and on Saturday we went to Killarney to go to the cinema, as my host mom had raved about this particular cinema. In the end, only Theresa and I went to the cinema, because when we talked about what to do on Friday, Ara made a fuss about wanting to watch Wakanda Forever and hating Marcel, saying it would be a waste of time, even though she promised to watch a movie of my choice with me. So I decided to go alone, because I really wanted to watch this film. I called Theresa and asked her to come along, and she agreed, so the two of us went to the cinema on Saturday. She also came over to our place at the last minute and stayed overnight because something happened at her house. The cinema was amazing - the seats were really comfortable, you could extend a footrest and recline the backrest. The film was great and also a bit sad. Before meeting at the cinema, I went to a cafe with Ara, Sara, and Maya. I had been to that cafe before when we last visited Killarney, and it was really delicious (the cup in the picture was a cappuccino, not mine - I just stole it from Sara because I wanted the cat in my picture, didn't taste anything 😂). And the bathroom was probably the best thing about the whole cafe - the ceiling was really high, and all the walls were covered in Marvel and DC comic pages, not as wallpaper, but each page individually attached, it looks really cool. After the cinema, we went to a mall, and I bought a string of fairy lights, I put them on my bed along with the pictures Melissa sent me, because I'm not allowed to put anything on the walls. Melissa's letter arrived on Wednesday, and I was so happy and I'm looking forward to the bubble tea and K-dramas, thank you 💕. And I wanted to mention that Jungkook from BTS sang the 2022 World Cup song at the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar today, which, in our opinion, is the best World Cup song since 2010 (Shakira's Waka Waka). And I'm currently sooooooo obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera - the movie, the storyline, the music is just amazing, I've been listening to the songs from the film almost exclusively for a month now. Just a little reminder that you should watch the film again.

Love and miss you.

Best regards, Pia
