You are more the exception on such a trip, the days where you can sit relaxed in front of the caravan, read a book and enjoy the warming autumn sun.

Not only that this time the weather was mostly mediocre, with quite a few rainy days and only sporadic phases of clear blue autumn sky.

But the main reason, of course, is that there is so much to see and discover. What else should go in the suitcase and what must – sometimes with a heavy heart – be left out? Every city, every region has its charm, its special features, its beauties that it would like to show. And of course, endless culture as well. So deciding is not always easy.

We have been on the road in the caravan through France, Belgium and the Netherlands for two months now. Tomorrow we will visit Liège, then we will go a good distance towards home. On the weekend we will take a look at Strasbourg. And then on Sunday we will go back home.
