Hello everyone,
The past weeks have been very quiet here, the reason being that I have been traveling through New Zealand in fast motion for the past 25 days. Currently, I am in Christchurch and tomorrow morning I will fly to Singapore. The past eight days in the camper van were freezing cold at night, but absolutely exhilarating during the day. I really enjoyed camping, especially the possibility to park in a beautiful place and prepare a meal there.
The highlights of the past days were, besides a hike on the Franz Josef Glacier (see pictures), the private, wood-fired bathtub under the starry sky in Omarama at night. For this occasion, I treated myself to a bottle of fine New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc to observe the stars in a place with one of the lowest light pollution levels worldwide. Breathtaking.
However, I am currently feeling a certain fatigue from power traveling through New Zealand. All the impressions consisting of breathtaking landscapes and experiences need to be processed.
I hope you are all doing well!
Sending lots of love
