Party City Buenos Aires

Ipapashiwe: 19.09.2019

Buenos Aires is pretty cool, it's calm, pretty safe (compared to Ghana) and an absolute party city. Sadly I haven't found a place with good WiFi, I'm sitting in a bar right now and need 10 Minutes for three pictures but hey I got time 🤷🏼‍♂️

The bills here are super beautiful 🤩
This guy is Leonel, he is my flatmate. Martin, the couchsurfer I stayed with, originally became pretty uncomfortable, so I changed places. My current host, Lucas, rents several apartments and has some rooms free - that's where I stay now. Leonel, Jesus and Jhanfer are my flatmates, it's pretty cool!
I ate some arepa, which is Venezuelan food. This one was basically just dough made of corn, beef and cheese. Super delicious and I was full for the whole day.
Buenos Aires is not just a party city but also really beautiful and has plenty of parks where people gather and drink mate. In terms of mate they totally fulfill the cliche.
This looks pretty beautiful right?
Sadly it's surrounded by metal fences, like many other places.
And this one is currently under construction.
But there is plenty more! (Check out the picture section)

I don't have so incredible much to tell actually, my days are usually sightseeing and party at night. I will receive some important documents on Friday (big thanks to my mom at this point!), so I'll chill here a bit. It's colder then expected, the temperature drops down to below 10°C in the night and climbs up to 20 during the day. I already got a second jeans and a second sweater but still need a jacket for colder areas, like mountains and the south of Argentinia. The second hand stores here are pretty expensive tho, a used jacket costs around 30€ which I didn't pay. My search continues tomorrow.

Buenos Aires also has a Japanese garden which is super beautiful.

More pictures in.... I think you know by now where to find more pictures 😂
Visitors weren't allowed to enter but this is a traditional Japanese house.

I also went to a famous graveyard.
It looks like a small town, these graves are huuuuge.
It looks endless (yes, it's all graves)
Some look like ruins..
While others are super modern. This one even has a picture of Jesus in it that has light beyond it (the reflections make it hard to see tho)
There are plenty of small things in the city which make it special. Like this guy carrying the branch of a tree.
Aaaand I went to a district called "La Boca. From it's appearance and the people it reminded me of Gaarden (only people from my town will get this reference), it is dirty, smells sometimes like piss, sometimes like fresh food and looks alternative. La Boca is full of street art which looks really good and professional.

This is sooo cool
Huuuge paintings
I ordered some hamburger and fries. This is was what got. I didn't really wanted to ask why I only got meat and not a hamburger, it was good anyway.
With new power I continued my trip through the district.

I totally fell in love with this part of Buenos Aires. If I'd be Argentinian, I'd probably live right here!

The next days are going to be similar calm so don't expect anything crazy on this blog until next week - I'll keep you updated tho ♥️
