After getting up, we left our beautiful spot by the fjord and drove towards Andenes in modest weather. On the way there, we encountered a herd of reindeer, which seemed to not expect a car on the road and appeared completely unreal due to its shock. It wasn't until it moved that we realized it wasn't a mirage. We could observe them peacefully walking a few meters beside the road. They were so beautiful to look at and disappeared into the dense trees and shrubs after a few moments.
Upon arriving in Andenes, we were treated to a museum tour about whales and an incredible whale safari, about 31 km offshore in open sea. We met Glenn the sperm whale (20m long, weighing 75t) and were able to watch him breathe and resurface twice. One of Glenn's friends also made an appearance. In total, we spent nearly 5 hours at sea. We were frozen but incredibly happy and fascinated. We reached the harbor in the evening and then drove to our next sleeping spot near a puffin island. Unfortunately, we couldn't see any of these beautiful birds, but we still enjoyed a stunning view.
The next morning, we continued towards Hoven. On the way, we saw more beautiful landscapes and were once again amazed at how beautiful Norway is. We also encountered several herds of sheep on the road. With bells around their necks, many of these sheep are free to roam without any fencing. You have to be careful when going around the next curve.
All in all, it was an exciting 2 days that we would love to share with you again through pictures and the following song:
Enjoy listening!
