Tag 21 - Breakfast, Garden, Hearts, Tübingen, Shadow, Drone - 24.07.2020

Good morning on day 21 (puuuhhh, already)

Last night was very pleasant and partly sweaty :-)

For breakfast, to celebrate the day for no reason, there was the rest of the Mousaka and Frappe - an interesting combination. What fascinates me here is still the coaster from the Schwabenland. I took a closer look at it and behold, my workplace 'Tübingen' is also on it. A fence with a hint, ahem a hint with a fence post - or how am I supposed to understand that :-) The Mousaka was 'almost' even better than yesterday. Many thanks to my landlords who brought me the food, including 2 beers, figs, and homemade jam. It's nice to be spoiled like this. After the rich meal, speaking of a rich meal, since I was at Eleni and Stavros I have the feeling again that I can no longer get away from eating. It's also bothering me a little in my stomach because it was too much for me over the past few days. But sooooo DELICIOUS!

So once again, after the rich meal, I explored the garden a little. Pictures above. It's fascinating to see how dry it is here and yet how many plants thrive and bloom. Of course, there is also life, besides many ants there are also nice beetles, lizards, salamanders, etc. and of course a lot that flies through the air (especially in the evening and in the morning, those who want the best for me --> namely my blood). Unfortunately, I haven't seen any snakes yet, just a run over one yesterday. As a reminder for my bird-loving daughter, there was also a feather lying around.

I had chosen this remote, lonely house to find a little peace and quiet for myself. Since I've been here, I constantly come across hearts, first in Nea Peramos on the beach, the shard of glass in the shape of a heart, now here in the garden a plant with heart-shaped leaves. I actually wanted to shave before writing here, but unfortunately it had to stay that way because there was no water. That would be a problem for many again, but you simply have to occasionally expect that here. That happens. Now it's running again (after almost an hour). Everything will be / is good :-)

Then I prepared everything for the beach and carried it to the car. I noticed that the sun was burning mightily on my shoulder. Therefore, I decided at short notice to spend this day on the veranda under the roof in the shade. That was also a lot of fun, just watching the traffic a bit, among other things how trucks transport marble from Thassos, then enjoyed the landscape and even had a visit from 4 airplanes today. Which is why I played a bit with the drone and surely annoyed some beachgoers :-)
