After a night with a little less sleep than hoped for, we started today just before 10. I still have to get used to the fact that it doesn't really get dark up here in the north. This morning, I thought it was time to get up, but after looking at the clock, I had to realize that it was only 03:55. Just a side note.
So we didn't leave until just before 10 today, and then we continued on some federal highways towards the north. The weather was still great in the morning, the sun peeked through from time to time. Only the wind was quite noticeable here as well. At a speed limit of 80 km/h (which you should adhere to, thanks to the hefty fines), the wind is still quite bearable.
In the afternoon, we drove several kilometers on the "Autobahn" again, but the weather wasn't playing along anymore. It rained from time to time, more or less. Fortunately, the rain stopped in the late afternoon so that things could dry out during the last few kilometers and I could set up the tent in the dry.
The campsite here in Hudiksvall is really great, but a bit more expensive. Everyone has their own pitch here, the showers are free (unlike all other campsites). In addition, it is located directly on the Baltic Sea and has its own beach access (which I don't necessarily want to use because of the weather 😃).
So far, I have covered about 1800 km, according to the navigation system there are still 1500 km to the North Cape. That means I'm on track and will reach my destination by Thursday evening at the latest (without any incidents).
Today's expenses:
€22 Camping
€40 Fuel
€18 Food + Drinks (this time even with "beer", which alone amounts to €8 😉)
