Time to say GOODBYE

Today was our last day at American high schools. In the evening, all the German students met with their families in Charles City for a farewell dinner. For the first time, there was a sense of farewell in the air. We talked about what we liked best and we were all reminded of the beautiful moments of the past two weeks. We realized how much we had grown together. After dinner, the St. Ansgar students went home and spent the evening with their families. The Charles City students all gathered and played pool together. Despite the fun, we were sad because we knew it would be our last evening together for now.
