Diary of a journey to myself / The 10 Insights

Ipapashiwe: 26.04.2020

Women with bangs, rooms with a view, and boots keep appearing on this journey and seem to want to convey a message to me.

"What does this have to do with me?" is one of the key questions that leads me to 10 insights about myself and the greater interconnectedness of life throughout the journey.

Not without my boots

There are journeys that are truly special. Journeys that not only take you thousands of kilometers to foreign places on other continents of this world, to take a break from your usual daily routine, gain completely new impressions, and capture them in countless pictures. Journeys where you can meet interesting new people and maybe even experience adventures.

There are also journeys that lead you a good step further on your own life path or show you a completely different direction that you hadn't even considered before. Journeys that inspire and trigger something within you. When you start to examine things more closely. When you suddenly recognize connections, follow your intuition, and feel that incredible energy that is created whenever you feel that something is happening, something new is emerging that stirs you up. Then the journey to yourself begins. An adventure that began in Vietnam, led to Laos and Cambodia, and finally back to Vietnam and back to Germany. Packed with pictures and insights in my mind that I will never forget and for the first time I felt intensively that nothing happens by chance, that drives and develops life. Everything is connected and interdependent.

The journey began at Frankfurt Airport, where I made my first entries in my travel diary, of which I did not know at that time that it would be the manuscript of one of my life adventure stories that I would want to tell six years later. And in chronological order as I experienced it, to inspire people who are also searching and who, like me, don't even really know what they are actually looking for.
