The past few days we have spent doing what you can also associate with vacation: sleeping in, eating, drinking, putting your feet up.
Well, we also celebrated the new year on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view over the city. With mom, dad, sister, brother, baby, cat, and dog.... and of course with music, plenty of drinks, delicious asado, and enough dessert for the following days.
We also sent 3 rockets with 3 good wishes for everyone into the sky. There was a lot of fireworks to see over the city. However, it was not even close to the fireworks in German streets.
Actually, I wanted to blow up the Schulzen at the end of the year as well, but my leg doesn't want to say goodbye to them just yet. It's getting better, but not good enough. And for a bit longer distances, they will probably accompany me for a few more days. By the way, they also increase the chance of getting a seat on the notoriously overcrowded buses and trains here.
