We don't wake up until around 9, so hurry up because Christian is supposed to play tennis at 11:00.

Today we're having a reduced breakfast (because there's not much left). Petra's 2010 plum jam tastes damn good.

We keep to the 11 o'clock appointment and the rest of the team goes to the playground park opposite the tennis courts. There are a lot of pensioners around, but we always manage to get a shady spot on a park bench. The gelati we have in between is molto buono.

With Christian having showered but still sweating heavily, we head off to the supermarket. Back home, we have a wonderful caprese and a belly that is getting bigger and bigger. I just have to admit.

What are we doing at 4? Of course, to the beach. Today there are great waves and a stormy wind. Everyone is throwing themselves into the waves, making a lot of splashes.

We arrive home on time for the Corpus Christi procession and watch the procession from the balcony.

For dinner, we have thinly sliced pork neck, fried in good olive oil and with all kinds of herbs, with vegetables cut up by the children (zucchini, tomatoes, garlic) and a spun rocket salad. Excellent!

Ella is looking for a letter, Bettina finds it. An M.

I get a pad and write an M. And then the whole ABC in block letters.

A little later, Ella writes LISA under the row of letters, Lisa comes over and continues writing and drawing on her own sheet of paper, and so it turns into a super fun and relaxed evening in the kitchen. With drawings, writing, puzzles and labyrinths and lots of fun.

At half past ten we start to go to bed, read the story of the rabbit without ears and then our eyes start to close.

Until midnight, then it's time to write reports on the balcony again. And that's until 1:00 a.m., the first fishing boats are already leaving, so good night.
