25/01/2016 Great Ocean Road, Day 2

KOALA, 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, etc.

In the middle of the GOR, we finally saw our first wild koalas!!! =) That was sooo amazing. It was always a 'dream' to see a koala. On the second day, we found a beautiful campsite by the lake in the evening. It was mentioned that there was deep mud, which Mike wanted to test. He jumped right into the supposed mud. Luckily, he didn't sink, because there was water underneath, as the ground was shaking. (But you know Mike :-D)Today, we also visited the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, one of the main attractions of the GOR. Although it was crowded with mainly Asians, who felt like they had to take a photo of every centimeter and sometimes pushed us out of the way to take a picture, it was still really beautiful to see what nature has 'created' here.Loch Ard Gorge, as far as we found out, was once part of the Apostles, but it fell over at some point and formed this beautiful 'canyon'.
