D12 - travel to Maui and Laheina impressions

- Got up at 5.45am to be ready for our airport pickup at 6.30am to Kona apt.
- Flight 139 to Kahului airports Maui, only 25min airtime
- Picking up the rental at Alamo (Jeep Wrangler)
- First shopping at Safeways for some groceries
- Driving over to Kihei and our condos at Kamaole sands
- As appt not ready year, we had a small picnic at the Kamaole beach park area on top of the shore and enjoyed the soft ocean breeze in the shade of the big trees
- Took the car to ride over to Laheina, all roads leading to ocean front still closed and the big Banyan can not be visited yet
- Stopped at scenic point Laheina Ukumehame and caught a glimpse of the Molokini crater
- Back at condos, we got the keys to our incredibly nice appt, just wow. It has everything and more of what you need to experience a wonderful vacation 🙏🙏🙏so very grateful !!
- Went for dinner at Fred’s Mexican food place in walk distance, had to wait quite a while to get seated but enjoyed a great Mexican dinner with tacos and enchiladas. First Corono cerveza🍺.
