White Sand Beach in Khao Lak

A beach that you should definitely visit when you are in Khao Lak: the White Sand Beach. Here you can spend the whole day, especially if you want to plan a nice beach walk. With the taxi we drove about 20 minutes until we reached the White Sand Beach. You can also rent a scooter to visit the different beaches, but we haven't dared to do that yet. Fortunately, taking a taxi is not expensive here.

While the sand on the other beaches in Khao Lak is rather yellowish, here you will find a paradise-white sandy beach. The water also shimmers in a completely different color when the sun shines!

Once you arrive at the beach, you have several options. You can rent loungers on site, sit down in one of the restaurants, spread out your towel or go for a walk on the beach. We decided to make ourselves comfortable and rented loungers on both days. This way we could read comfortably, listen to the waves or just doze off a little.

When we got bored, we simply walked along the beach. If you go to the left, you will reach Coconut Beach in less time. It had a bit of a lonely island flair. Again, of course, no one to be seen here!

However, I had nothing better to do than to be attacked by a jellyfish in the water.... Ouch!

Back at our loungers, we are already greeted by the cute dogs on the beach!

If you get hungry, you can sit down in a beach restaurant and have one of the many delicious Thai dishes served or drink a refreshing coconut!
