Day 3 - Lemvik > Skagen

ที่ตีพิมพ์: 17.07.2019

Well, we're not actually going to Skagen. Because the region is crowded with tourists due to the natural phenomenon of the transition from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. Therefore, we have decided on a campsite in Ålbæk. The site itself is very nice with large pitches and direct access to the sandy beach. The only downside is the direct proximity to the highway 40, which is heavily trafficked and therefore quite noisy from 8 am to 11 pm.

The route from Lemvik to Ålbæk is of course chosen again to avoid major roads. A large part of the route even runs, not planned but gladly accepted, on the so-called Daisy Route. A route that supposedly should be driven with cars or maximum campervans, as the road winds through narrow areas. But on our chosen route, I see little problem for motorhomes.

Today we did not stop in a city, but we briefly stopped at the beach in Løkken for lunch. What we unfortunately noticed too late: cars are allowed on the beach here. It is certainly recommended to google it before arrival, as it saves you the search for parking and of course it's just cool to park your car or campervan on the beach.
