Chicago - the windy city

Just a little over a week to go, and then we’re off. We’re flying to Chicago on September 8, 2024, and driving along Lake Michigan. Thanks to CANUSA, we are well prepared. The route is set, the hotels are booked, and the rental cars are arranged.

We are really looking forward to the days in the Midwest of the USA.

Right after landing in Chicago, we will pick up our rental car and drive to Benton Harbor near St. Joseph. From there, we will continue to Traverse City, then to the Mackinac Strait Area, and from there to the Muskegon Grand Haven Saugatuck Area. We have booked two nights in each location. Finally, we will spend 5 nights in Chicago. We are very excited about the city we have heard and read so much about. 

On September 21, we will drive from Chicago down to Greenwood. Matthias will fly back on September 23. I will be working in Greenwood for another two weeks and will return to Zurich on October 6.

Now we are full of anticipation.
