We only had the morning left, so we went to Clarke Quay to see Singapore from the water one last time.
Since we still had some time, we explored the neighborhood. In the evening, it is lively with many bars and restaurants, but in the morning it felt rather deserted.
We then took a boat ride along the Singapore River to Marina Bay. Here we saw the 'Merlion' once again in daylight, now in radiant white and no longer lit up in colorful lights - which we actually liked better.
At Marina Bay, all the other passengers got off, so we had the boat to ourselves with just two crew members.
The two of them took turns as photographers (one had to steer) and a whole series of pictures was created, with us standing at the bow, holding buildings in our hands, or sitting under bridges...
We then took the metro to Harbourfront. After finding our way out of the shopping mall where we ended up after the train station, we walked along the waterfront with a view of Sentosa.
Harbourfront
The island of Sentosa is home to a large amusement park that attracts many visitors. We only had time for a quick look because our flight to Vietnam was in the afternoon.
