สวัสดีตอนเช้า! ดังนั้นดื่มกาแฟก่อน

My day is just beginning. I actually slept pretty well, I realize. But that's probably because of the thunderstorm last night. Outside nasty and inside nice, warm, cozy, and comfortable. Those are always the most pleasant nights in summer, I think. Cool and sweat-free. A guarantee for a good night's sleep. But maybe my body associates this kind of sleeping in my trunk bunk with many nights I spent on the boat. With that soothing rocking...every night on board gave me the most beautiful sleep back then as it does today.

And without the handbrake on (which I only discovered this morning ;) and a bit of gusty crosswind on the car, I believe I felt that certain rocking again last night. Or was it the few beers?? ;)

The flashback to past days continued in the bathroom. These different people...brushing teeth next to each other, grooming, cleaning ears, putting on makeup, and squeezing pimples. (Ok, that was me ;) ...strange to share these things daily. But still familiar to me from sailing. Just a long time ago. I perceive things a little differently today. That's good too. After all, it's been about 20 years since I spent weeks on the lake with my parents.

Having to "walk around with a toothbrush", and that in public, was the next strangeness for me...may have seemed quite entertaining for the campsite guests...me walking around the washroom building with a brush in my mouth...anyway...keyword: hippie-like...I don't care. ;)

My breakfast followed afterwards. A croissant and cappuccino from the campsite staff, a bit of cheese, bread rolls, and cigarettes, and I am happy...sitting in the trunk, I enjoy it...I don't know why, but it makes me incredibly satisfied. Maybe I'll be able to figure out why.

My hike should actually start now. But there is a big thunderstorm coming over the mountains at noon...not sure if it's a good idea to go into the mountains then...despite my very extensive mountaineering experience (Kathi F. and Anna. This 'joke' is dedicated to you), I have some concerns.

In the meantime, I prefer to write and ask the neighbors what other activities there are.

PS: No worries. I have already noticed that "Guten Morgen" (Good morning) at 11:45 may not be quite appropriate anymore. But I'm taking it easy and I had to interrupt my writing due to a low battery situation...(I woke up at 7 o'clock today...Mom & Dad...just so you know ;)
