Day 10-12 Our car for the trip

On day 10 we were finally able to pick up our car for the big trip to start!

Ok, which big trip? First milestone: Cape York, getting to the tip (and back), then west to Karumba before heading first to the red center and then up to Darwin and around.

So while Stuart was enjoying some breakfast with coffee & lots of passion fruits, we sorted everything around the car: insurance, tools, packing boxes and basically trying to understand how everything with the car works...

Furthermore, all accommodations for heading up to Cape York have to be sorted. To say the least, if you're not camping (tent or caravan) there aren't many accommodations, few have websites, none responded to any email, but at least some answered the phone. So to make a long story short, we got all accommodations sorted, although staying longer in Cape York because next accommodation had nothing available the day before.

So at the end of the day Stuart was able to relax at the pool looking forward to the trip to start
