At eight o'clock we are already ready to start and waiting for the bread. Astonishingly, it is delivered shortly after eight. A few Germans make jokes about it.
Yesterday we had a comfortable 50km and 4.5 hours under our belt. Today, we should have a little more. About 95km and about 6 hours of driving.
We are on the route and making good progress. The only concern is the consistently closed stores. The only open store is a hala store. We are fine with it. We supply ourselves with delicious naan bread, some tuna, and peppers. It proves to be a good move, as there is no more store in the next hour.
The sun is scorching on us. After the cold days in Switzerland, it is a blessing but also unfamiliar. Warm.
After eating lunch, we continue to ride. Actually, at a high speed, but my hay fever is bothering me. An antihistamine helps, but it also makes me tired.
Continue riding obediently and look for another shopping opportunity. Unfortunately, we have to take a detour of over 15km. But we are rewarded with fried potatoes and meat patties.
Even to find the campsite, we have to make a detour of about 8km. Therefore, we have 110km on the clock at five o'clock.
The campsite manager welcomes us friendly and we are looking forward to what we bought. We also caught a blonde and it cools us down a bit. To my special delight, it has an electric grill, so I don't have to squeeze everything into the 15cm frying pan.
We call home. Showering and cooking and then we go into the tent.
