Tag 220 - Closed 3D Museum / chill out day

ప్రచురించబడింది: 20.03.2020

Hi everyone

Today there is not much to report. We started the day relaxed with a balanced breakfast that we prepared ourselves. Even with fried eggs and bacon :)

Then we drove to the 3D museum.... After a 40-minute drive, we reached our destination and had to realize that it was closed due to the coronavirus. Exactly from today until the end of the month! What a bummer...

We hoped to be able to spontaneously organize a boat trip and drove to a nearby harbor. However, it was only for large ferries and did not offer any excursions. So we drove back towards the accommodation. On the way, we found a tour operator that was open and booked a boat trip for tomorrow. We learned that excursions in the open air are still allowed, only activities indoors are prohibited. Many tour providers are still closed because they simply do not get enough requests. We will try the James Bond Islands. Normally they are so overcrowded that it is not enjoyable at all. Who knows, maybe we are lucky in the current situation?

In addition, there was a short break in a bar. We ate something there and then made our way home. In the evening, Mom and I went to get our nails done. But... they wanted CHF 63 per person! We decided that our nails are not that bad yet and walked along the street for a moment in the hope of finding another nail studio. Since we were in Patong, we took a quick look at the supposedly closed 'Bangla Road'. The bars are closed, but tourists still flock to this street, buying glow sticks, laughing and eating in the nearby restaurants. You really don't notice the madness that is currently prevailing there.

Now we are back in our accommodation and enjoying the evening, as well as looking forward to tomorrow.

Today we don't really have any pictures for you.... But tomorrow you should get some to browse through :)

So once again we say:

Thanks for reading and seeeee you tomorrow!
