In the morning, we went next to the small pond for breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and fruit. Afterwards, we spent the rainy morning relaxedly in our little cabin. When the sky cleared up, we set off on the scooter to the "Bai Dinh Pagoda", the largest temple complex in Vietnam. The route took us through the beautiful nature of the dry Halong Bay, past lush green rice fields and huge karst rocks. We made a short stop in Trang An, from where the popular boat tours started, and watched the many tourists eagerly rushing onto the boats. Finally, we continued to the temple complex. Due to the impressive buildings and the sheer size of the area, it is definitely worth a visit. On the way back, we made a short stop in Hoa Lu, the first capital of Vietnam. Back in Tam Coc, we found a small restaurant to eat and finally explored the nearby nature park at night.
