Hello dear ones!
Today we started the day relaxed and planned our return trip.
At 12 o'clock a "doctor" came to our room to do the PCR test. We paid a little more than on the street, but they stand in line in front of the test center for so long that the extra charge was worth it to us.
Afterwards we went to the beach, had something to eat and met Peter and Jenny one last time. Just as we had the first grains of sand under our feet, it started to rain! We walked towards Peter & Jenny, followed by the bad weather ☺️.
Jenny remained positive and always said, "let's wait and see, it will pass". So we stood under the lifeguard's observation tower and really: she was right ☺️.
We were actually able to lie on the beach again and enjoy the sun ☺️
At around 4 p.m. the weather turned worse again and we strolled through the souvenir shops for a short time. Then Peter and Jenny had to leave again because they had a fixed hotel transfer and later also an appointment for a PCR test. The two of them will continue their journey the day after tomorrow via Ecuador to Galapagos.
Kevin and I bought a few little things and also went back to the hotel.
There we looked through the pictures and enjoyed the cozy bathtub with a sea view ☺️.
By the way, we stayed in the bathtub all evening, Kevin was so kind and got us something from the food court ☺️
That's it from us for today ☺️
See you tomorrow!
