Whistle stop in Delft

After our visit to the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, we made a detour to Delft, which is very close by. And it was definitely worth it. Although somewhat "touristy", Delft has beautiful old squares, winding alleyways, and charming canals. And the numerous students create a lively contrast to the medieval buildings. The Technical University of Delft employs around 3,100 academic staff, including 253 professors, and has more than 23,000 students, almost 20 percent of whom are from abroad.
