Motorhome Tour 2014: By the Sea

We started this day with breakfast outside, thanks to the beautiful weather. Then I went to the beach with my brothers, where there was almost nothing going on. But it was also cool. At first, we just chilled. Later, Mom and Dad joined us. Somehow they must be crazy, because they didn't mind the water feeling like 10°C. Michi and I took about 20 minutes to get fully into the water, and that was only because Dad splashed us.

Other than that, we swam, took a beach walk, cooked (even made pudding to celebrate Dad's birthday!), played bocce ball and badminton. In the evening, we went back into the water when it started raining. But it was nice! To warm up, we sang a nursery rhyme with movement (Hannes and the Button Factory) and took a warm shower at the campsite. Under the awning, we had dinner in the pouring rain and talked about Mom's incredible 68 cousins and very silly things. It was wonderful!
