The seemingly perfect sleeping place in the dunes turned out to be a bad joke in the middle of the night. Chosen with the idea of being protected from the wind, it ironically became our downfall when it ripped the stakes out of the sand at 4 o'clock and our tents flew away. After a short consideration, it became clear to all of us that we had no choice but to pack our things in the middle of the night, in complete darkness, and stumble to the car in the storm. Completely exhausted, we spent a few cool hours here until the sun rose and then continued driving along the coast. Without really saying it, we all knew that it was time for a hot shower, a comfortable bed, and a relaxed atmosphere. In short, we urgently needed a hostel. So we drove to the nearest larger city, went to the first Lidl to use the free Wi-Fi, and looked for a nice hostel. After a very long and hot shower, doing laundry, and having warm food, we spent the rest of the day on the balcony of the small, but charming Allmar Hostel with a view of the sea and sunshine.
