So - what do we think of today?!

First rain - then sun.

First headwind - then tailwind.

Yes, that was it, in a way. 😀

OK, let's go into a little more detail:

After breakfast we set off in the drizzle, which then developed into a full-blown shower.

I quickly put on rain gear and of course it stopped raining. 🙄

And after a short while the sun even came out. At times the thermometer rose to 27°.

Perfect for cycling. 😀

In terms of route, the first 20?! kilometers went straight along the dyke - with the slightest headwind. 🫣

But the nice thing is that when you then head in a different direction, the headwind turns into a tailwind.

And so the stage went quite relaxed and after 110 km I was already at the B&B.

So really not exciting today.

But nice!

Tomorrow is the last real stage. Another 100 km to Oeding.

I remember the hotel there from my tour last year. It was also the final stop on the tour then.

On Sunday we'll travel another 40 km to Haltern am See and from there, if the train allows, we'll take the S9 back home.

...or the best wife of all comes to Haltern and we go for a ride around the lake together.
