Zermatt 16-18 August 2022

Tomorrow morning we are heading towards Zermatt, in the beautiful summer weather. Wonderful journey along Spiez, Thun to Visp, short transfer in Zurich, transfer in Visp to Zermatt train and arrival in Zermatt at 10.04. Drop off our luggage at the hotel, then we go on our first hike to Täsch, about 1.5 hours along the Zermatt train, partly through the forest, highly recommended. From there we take the bus towards Saas Fee 😀 beautiful journey through the beautiful little villages with the beautiful wooden houses with lots of flowers. In Saas Fee we admire the nearby glacier while enjoying coffee and cake, and the very well-kept cozy village. On the return journey, we once again enjoy the wonderful nature.

On Wednesday we decide to take the train up to Schwarzsee, then take a hike back to Zermatt. It is impressive to stand so close to the Matterhorn and enjoy a great view of the Hörnli Hut. During our hike, we see and hear many marmots 😀😀, and we also make a detour to the cute, small, and traditional village of Zmutt. It is recommended to visit this charming place in Zermatt.

On Thursday, we enjoy the Matterhorn early in the morning, with the sunrise (I'm not alone, many guests also enjoy it enthusiastically). We thoroughly enjoy our delicious breakfast and the beautiful village, with all its beauties, before heading back home.
