Today, we are going to Lysekil and Kungshamn in sunny warm summer weather. Lysekil is a city in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County. It is one of the larger places along the west coast, so it lacks a bit of the familiar atmosphere that you feel in small towns. Kungshamn is located on a peninsula on the Swedish west coast and has been connected to Smögen by a bridge since 1970. Kungshamn is the administrative center of the Sotenäs municipality and has approximately 3000 inhabitants. The beach promenade was built about 20 years ago. Here, you have the sea on one side and the typical Bohuslän granite rocks on the other side. If you are in Kungshamn, you should also visit Smögen. You can use the water taxi, called Zitaboats, which depart from the promenade in the center of Kungshamn and take about 20 minutes. In the evening, we will enjoy our last dinner on our terrace, because tomorrow we will leisurely drive towards Stockholm.
