From Muggesturm to Schwetzingen

Today, for the first time, we started in dream weather. Although it was still a little chilly in the morning. After I had looked into today's stage a little more closely, I realized that it led directly through Karlsruhe. We then spontaneously visited my nephew Thomas, who is studying in Karlsruhe, and had a drink together in a small street cafe. Then we continued towards Karlsruhe Palace, a truly monumental masterpiece. From there, we went straight through the forest for 18 km on a mostly paved small road. In Hockenheim, we enjoyed our first ice cream on this tour (certainly not the last) and then continued past the Motodrom to Schwetzingen, our destination for today. A relatively flat stage, tomorrow it will be a bit more challenging in this regard.
