Nauyaka Waterfalls

After a 1 1/2 hour bus ride from Quepos and a 5 km hike with 260 meters of elevation gain (the shuttle instead of the hike was supposed to cost $32.. we are poor students 😂), we arrived at the Nauyaka Waterfalls. The hike was worth it though, as it took us through the jungle and we even saw a hummingbird along the way.

Unfortunately, we arrived at the waterfall a bit later, so it was quite crowded, but swimming below the waterfall made up for it.

Afterwards, we hiked the 5 km back and we arrived back in Quepos exhausted but happy in the evening.
