7:30 a.m. The daily routine has adapted to that of Italy: go to bed late, get up late. Christian goes to play tennis and we are still waiting for breakfast.
Afterwards we stroll through the city to buy presents and have lunch. "Agli Artisti" is closed, however, so we sit in the garden of the "Ristorante Adriatico" and have an excellent meal.
Lisa immediately wins the landlady's heart: "Mi chiamo Lisa" and "grazie" open all the gates.
After a starter and primi piatti (risotto sepie nero), we are served a 1.7 kg Rombo with potatoes and tomato and onion vegetables. Extremely tasty and because we are so nice (or because we ordered a 90 euro fish) the coffee and grappa are on the house.
Linguistically, Grado is divided into two camps: Italian and Austrian in all its facets. And sensationally, no Germans - wonderful!
Following the Italian schedule, we drive to the beach from last year at 4 p.m. and enjoy the great waves.
To make sure the bag grows, we have carpaccio on rocket salad in the evening. Mom's text message is clear: "I'm really looking forward to seeing you!"
We sit and drink until about 12:51 a.m., when Lisa falls out of bed with a loud bang. If you really want to sleep on the left side of the bed, Lisa's left-handedness is not an advantage. Nothing happens.
