Spirits Bay Campsite

You couldn't start a day better! After a very pleasant night, Arnd wakes us up with a freshly brewed cappuccino

Soon we are on our way to have breakfast at a lookout. Then we continue to Cape Reinga, the northernmost point of New Zealand. Here we learn a lot about the Maori culture and the significance of this place. We admire the view of the endless sea. After a short but beautiful sightseeing, we finally find time to relax in the sun at the nearby Tapotupotu campground (the northernmost campground in New Zealand), to read, edit the film, draw and simply enjoy our freedom. In the evening, we have a fresh salad and now a restful sleep.
